Whatcom Hoops Boys Top 30: #6 Caden Heutink

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#6

Caden Heutink, senior, Nooksack Valley

WHY HE’S #6: The leader of the Pioneers’ talented class of 2025, which played all four years for the Nooksack varsity, the 6-foot-1 point guard just kept getting better and better. He could do it all on the court, averaging nearly 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists a game. But it was his leadership and ability to step up in the biggest games that made him worthy of being named to the WIBCA all-state seniors game, the all-Northwest Conference first team, and the Whatcom County Seniors Classic.

COACH JASON HEUTINK: “Caden was our hardest worker day in and day out. He took on a huge role of carrying our team — ball handler/scorer, assists, rebounds etc.  He always led by example and pushed everyone to be better.”
