Whatcom Hoops Boys Top 30: #10 Jonah Brillowsky

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#10

Jonah Brillowsky, senior, Ferndale

WHY HE’S #10: One of the Northwest Conference’s top big man, the 6-foot-6 forward could do it all. He was effective in the paint, could put the ball on the floor, or rise up to hit the 3-pointer. A leader among the seniors who turned the Golden Eagles from a 1-19 squad two years ago to a playoff team this season, he averaged more than 14 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block a game, which earned him all-NWC second-team honors.

COACH LUKE DuCHESNE: “Jonah was a good scorer, rebounder, and shot blocker for us. He was very vocal on defense and played hard. Awesome kid off the floor. He was one of our captains, and he was universally well-liked here at Ferndale High School.”
