Brady Ackerman, senior, Nooksack Valley
WHY HE’S #29: One of the Pioneers’ “fabulous freshmen” who helped rebuild the program the past four years, just missing state berths the past two. The 6-foot-4 post was efficient on offense, averaging 9.2 points on 60 percent shooting from the field, and a force on defense, averaging 6 rebounds and 1 blocked shot a game while defending the middle like the all-league defensive end that he was.
COACH JASON HEUTINK: “He was our big man in the middle. Even on ‘low’ stat games, he always made himself known.”
