#14
Abdul Kanagie, senior, Blaine
WHY HE’S #14: The explosive 6-foot-4 forward came off the bench last year, but this year became one of the most dynamic players in the Northwest Conference. “Dulio” led the Borderites with more than 12 points and almost 6 rebounds a game, shooting better than 52 percent from the field thanks to his strong moves inside the paint. He would wrap up his prep career being named to the Whatcom County Seniors Classic.
COACH CHAS KOK: “Abdul’s improvement in many facets of the game was evident throughout the season. His competitiveness and physicality were a big reason our team improved throughout the year. His loyalty to his teammates helped build camaraderie throughout the season.”
