In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#28

Luke Smith, senior, Mount Baker

WHY HE’S #28: Versatile and athletic, 6-foot-3 wing averaged more than 9 points and 5 rebounds a game. He was an asset on both offense and defense, and his leadership and attitude helped the Mounties double their total wins the past two seasons.

COACH TONY CLARK: “Our two-time team captain and ‘do everything’ player. He really helped keep us on track this season. He is a great kid.”
