In a season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops ranked the top 30 boys. Each day we featured an amazing player in our county and counted down until we got to #1. We hope you enjoyed the countdown as we honored the best of the best.
#19
Brady Ackerman, sophomore, Nooksack Valley
WHY HE’S #19: The leader of Nooksack’s talented sophomore class, Ackerman was a force inside for the Pioneers with his soft hands and outstanding footwork. The 6-foot-4 post averaged nearly a double-double — 10 points and 8 rebounds — and constantly was the center of attention for the opposing team’s defense.
COACH RICH SKILLMAN: “Brady was a big body and was often double-teamed.”
