In a season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.
#24
Bennett DeLange, senior, Nooksack Valley
WHY HE’S #24: Known as a scorer who could put up big numbers especially in big situations, Bennett led the Pioneers with 11 points a game. But the 6-foot-2 guard was an all-round player who pulled down 6 rebounds a game and collected 2.5 steals a game. Just as importantly, he provided senior leadership on a young Nooksack Valley squad with only two seniors.
COACH RICH SKILLMAN: “Bennett was always a scoring threat.”
