In a season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops ranked the top 30 boys. Each day we featured an amazing player in our county and counted down until we got to #1. We hope you enjoyed the countdown as we honored the best of the best.
#25
Ethan Larson, senior, Mount Baker
WHY HE’S #25: Although better known as an all-state football player, Larson showed his competitiveness and leadership on the court for the Mounties. The 6-foot-4 forward averaged 10.3 points and 6.5 rebounds and played his best against the toughest teams. Despite being fierce in the key, his big heart and unselfish attitude earned him the honor of team captain.
COACH TONY CLARK: “Ethan was an amazing team player. He helped bring our team together during adverse times and helped to refocus the team during difficult in-game moments. Ethan was the leader of our team and helped us all improve as players, coaches and individuals. He is a great overall kid, who his parents should be proud of.”
