In a season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops ranked the top 30 girls. Each day we featured an amazing player in our county and counted down until we got to #1. We hope you enjoyed the countdown as we honored the best of the best.
#28
Reganne Arnold, senior, Lynden Christian
WHY SHE’S #28: On a team known for filling their roles, she starred as the Lyncs’ true post. Whether the Class 1A state runners-up needed an inside basket, defense in the paint, a pass to an open teammate, or an occasional 3-point shot, the 5-foot-11 center could be counted on. While averaging 5 points and 4 rebounds a game, she made everyone else a better player.
COACH BRADY BOMBER: “Reganne is an unselfish, team-first player. She was a versatile offensive player who could score from inside and out which allowed our team to be more effective. Defensively, she did a lot of dirty work as a help defender and rebounder that led to our team’s success.”
