Whatcom Hoops Girls Top 30: #9 Brooklyn Fuller

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 girls. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#9

Brooklyn Fuller, senior, Meridian

WHY SHE’S #9: Of the many outstanding Whatcom players whose importance goes beyond their stats, none personify their team’s personality more than the Trojans’ four-year varsity veteran. The feisty 5-foot-6 point guard inspired the young Trojans to the brink of a state berth with her all-out effort on every play and her never-give-up attitude no matter the score. Unselfish on offense and a demon on defense, she averaged nearly 7 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals and was named to the all-Northwest Conference second team and the Whatcom County Seniors Classic.

COACH BREE JOY: “She is a once-in-a-lifetime type player, always bringing energy to the gym. She was the one who will not be outworked on the court and wanting to be the best leader for her teammates. She definitely left a huge imprint on this program.”
