Whatcom Hoops Girls Top 30: #24 Abbey White

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 girls. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#24

Abbey White, junior, Ferndale

WHY SHE’S #24: The 5-foot-6 guard used her strength and hustle to become an outstanding all-around player, who could lead the team in scoring when her outside shot was going and could shut down opposing guards on defense. She averaged more than 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals and helped drive the Golden Eagles into the playoffs.

COACH TERRI YOST: “Abbey is a strong athletic player. Her ability to read the defense and either shoot or attack the basket made her hard to defend this season. She is vocal and always brought a fun energy with her to practices and games.”
