Whatcom Hoops Girls Top 30: #16 Brooklyn Fuller

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 girls. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#16

Brooklyn Fuller, junior, Meridian

WHY SHE’S #16: If we were grading on intensity, the 5-foot-4 point guard might be all-state. Fuller was the focal point for the Trojans on both offense and defense, holding the team together despite its many injuries, and giving only 100 percent every play. Recognized by the league coaches as a second-team all-NWC choice, she led the Trojans in assists, rebounds, and free throw percentage.

COACH BREE JOY: “B might not have the most jaw-dropping stat line, but what she brings to this team on and off the court is unmatched. It has been incredible to watch her grow from freshman year to now going into her senior year — not just the growth as a basketball player but more importantly as a human being. B takes great pride in being a fantastic team player and never lets anyone outwork her when it comes to effort.”
