Whatcom Hoops Boys Top 30: #15 Brady Ackerman

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#15

Brady Ackerman, junior, Nooksack Valley

WHY HE’S #15: Like his all-star father and uncle before him, Ackerman lived up to the family name by being a force both offensively and defensively in the key for the Pioneers. The 6-foot-4 post had the moves to average more than 11 points a game, the strength to grab more than 8 rebounds a game, and the timing to lead the league with nearly 2 blocked shots a game.

COACH JASON HEUTINK: “Brady always held down the paint, dominating inside on both ends of the floor.”
