Whatcom Hoops Girls Top 30: #25 Natalie Van Liew

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 girls. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#25

Natalie Van Liew, sophomore, Mount Baker

WHY SHE’S #25: Although a natural off guard, Van Liew accepted the challenge of being the Mounties’ point guard and still managed to average a team-high 12.6 points a game. She also led Mount Baker with nearly 3 steals per game.

COACH TIFFANY RAMIREZ: “Natalie took on the large role of being the point guard well. She got after it early and set a standard for the others.”
