Whatcom Hoops Girls Top 30: #30 Kaylee Anderson

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 girls. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#30

Kaylee Anderson, senior, Nooksack Valley

WHY SHE’S #30: Anderson filled the role of long-distance shooter for the state champion Pioneers. The 5-foot-8 off guard averaged nearly two 3-pointers and nearly two assists a game. What made her stand out was her ability to sink big baskets in the clutch, none of which were bigger than her six 3-pointers in the Class 1A state championship game.

COACH SHANE WICHERS: “Kaylee is a shooter, and when she finds her rhythm, I wouldn’t bet against her. She is a high IQ player, who understands what we are trying to do on both ends of the court. She is a great teammate and a joy to work with and coach.”
