Whatcom Hoops Boys Top 30: #22 Josiah Weeda

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#22

Josiah Weeda, junior, Blaine

WHY HE’S #22: Only a late-season foot injury kept Weeda from being higher on the list. The 6-foot-3 guard could slash to the basket or pull up for a 3. He was the Borderites’ most dependable scorer, averaging 14.6 points a game before the season-ending injury.

COACH NATE SULLIVAN: “Josiah has a nose for the rim. He is a very confident scorer with tons of upside. He has great athletic ability and works hard at his game.”
