In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#20

Kincade Van Houten, junior, Bellingham

WHY HE’S #20: Van Houten’s versatility and skill set made him valuable both inside and outside on both offense and defense. The 6-foot-6 guard/forward averaged nearly a dozen points a game and led the Bayhawks with nearly 7 rebounds a game.

COACH BRAD McKAY: “Kincade was a good defender, a good offensive player, and played many different positions for us. He was steady and consistent and a team captain. He will be really important for us next year as he will have to help fill in the missing pieces of our graduating seniors.”
