Whatcom Hoops Boys Top 30: #21 Kayden Stuit

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#21

Kayden Stuit, senior, Lynden Christian

WHY HE’S #21: More than a tough football player, Stuit almost averaged a double-double (9.2 points and 9.7 rebounds a game) while shooting 52 percent from the field. But the 6-foot-4 forward didn’t just bang inside for the Lyncs as he averaged 3.2 assists and at least one thunderous dunk a game.

COACH TIM ZYLSTRA: “We were very fortunate that he came back this year. He worked his tail off on the boards for us. He was a fierce competitor who played hard all the time and was a great kid. Even if he wasn’t scoring, he would take care of the rebounds for us. He was a great defender too.”
