#10
Taylor Turrell, sophomore, Sehome
WHY SHE’S #10: The Mariners’ big turnaround this season was due in large part to the steadiness and maturity of their young, 5-foot-9 point guard. Able to score when needed at a dozen points a game, she was also the coach on the court, averaging almost 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Her all-around play and leadership earned her a place on the all-Northwest Conference second team.
COACH KIM STENSGAR: “Taylor was our most efficient offensive player, shooting 51 percent on 2-pointers this season. She averaged 11.5 points per game, had 51 steals and 61 assists, and was our floor general.”
