Tiana Thompson, junior, Squalicum
WHY SHE’S #28: The athletic 5-foot-9 forward was the kind of player every team needs — the one who quietly does whatever it takes in a game to win whether scoring, passing, rebounding, or defending. Part of the talented junior class that took the Storm to within one game of state, Thompson averaged 7 points, 4 rebounds, and at least 1 assist, steal, and blocked shot a game all while usually guarding the other team’s top scorer.
COACH CADEN MEE: “Tiana led us in free throw makes, became much more aggressive in terms of scoring, accepts challenges, and is in the top five across all stats. An underrated player.”
