Whatcom Hoops Girls Top 30: #19 Addison Kettman

In an amazing season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 girls. Each day we’ll feature an outstanding player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#19

Addison Kettman, junior, Squalicum

WHY SHE’S #19: Can a player win the most inspirational award for an entire league? Even with her prosthetic leg, the athletic 5-foot-10 forward put up top-30 numbers with more than 6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 assist ,and 1 block per game. But what made her invaluable on the court and worthy of being second team all-Northwest Conference was not only her willingness to put her team first but to inspire her teammates to play with the same unselfishness and desire she exhibited every day on the court.

COACH CADEN MEE: “Addison had the highest IQ on the team, was a captain and defensive MVP as voted by her teammates. She led us in blocks, steals, and rebounds. She was a true team-first player, who took four charges (only three players total took a charge for us this season).”

NOTE: Thank you to the coaches and to Tyler Anderson of WhatcomPreps.com for season stats.
