#19 Oakesdale 62, Lummi Nation girls 28
The Lady Blackhawks saw their season come to an end in Wednesday’s first round of the Class 1B state tournament with a loss to the Nighthawks, the eventual state runners-up.
Still, it was an incredible turnaround for the Lummi Nation girls, who in five years went from 1-19 to 17-10 and earned a place in the Spokane Arena for the first time in nearly a decade.
