Whatcom Hoops Boys Top 30: #24 Tracen Pazaski

In another amazing season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 boys. Each day we’ll feature an outstanding player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#24

Tracen Pazaski, sophomore, Ferndale

WHY HE’S #24: The 6-foot guard was part of the Golden Eagles’ sophomore backcourt with Houston Wills that figures to be a headache for the Northwest Conference the next two years. A natural for Ferndale’s upbeat style on both offense and defense, he averaged more than 11 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals a game.

COACH LUKE DuCHESNE: “Tracen has an excellent motor and feels no pressure. He plays fearlessly and is also a great shooter. Tracen and Houston will be quite the 1-2 punch for us these next couple of years. Tracen played great defense and guarded some of the league’s best guards all year.”
