#26
Gabe Galbraith, junior, Meridian
WHY HE’S #26: The 5-foot-11 junior was the much-needed outside shooter for the Trojans’ four-guard offense. He averaged 11 points a game, but what made him so dangerous was his ability to put up 3-pointers in a hurry when needed. And like all the undersized Trojans who came within one game of returning to state for the third year in a row, Galbraith had no lack of competitiveness or hustle.
COACH SHANE STACY: “Gabe dedicated himself to growth this offseason in a way that truly reflects his passion for the game. Day after day, he put in the extra hours and it showed when he stepped on the practice floor for the first time last November. The shoes these athletes were asked to fill this year were big, and Gabe took this challenge to heart as one of our key offensive contributors throughout the year. His commitment wasn’t just about repetition, but about purposeful work, and refining the skills and strength that would take him from an impactful JV player to an impactful varsity player in the Northwest Conference. That passion shows in his energy, his attention to detail, and his constant drive to compete and get better. He has set a standard for what it means to invest in your craft, and it’s clear that this work translated onto the court this season, and he will no doubt take it to the next level for his senior year.”
