Skagit Valley To Host NWC All-Star Games Tonight

Some of the top Whatcom County players will join forces and do battle one more time at the Northwest Conference Girls and Boys All-Star Games on Wednesday, March 15, at Skagit Valley College.

The girls game starts at 6 p.m. and the boys at 8 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students. For directions to the campus and a campus map, visit Skagit.edu/campus.

Here are the Whatcom players:

Girls Red Team: Senior Hallie Kamphouse and juniors Devin Coppinger and Tana Hoekema of Nooksack Valley; senior Callie McEachran and juniors Makayla Heaton and Mari Binning of Squalicum; senior Madisyn Butenschoen of Ferndale; and junior Haylee Koetje and freshman Payton Mills of Lynden.

Girls White Team: Seniors Avery Neal and Maris Baklund and junior Brooklyn Fuller of Meridian and junior Jordyn Vezzetti of Blaine. 

Boys White Team: Senior Coston Parcher, junior Anthony Canales, and sophomore Brant Heppner of Lynden; seniors Grant Kepley and Grey Garrison of Sehome; and senior Ashton Engelhart of Squalicum.

Boys Blue Team: Senior Tyler Sipma and junior Jeremiah Wright of Lynden Christian; seniors Mathew Russ and Lucas Smith of Blaine; and sophomore Jaeger Fyfe of Meridian.
