2022 All-Whatcom Hoops: Girls Third Team

Last year, because the Northwest Conference did not have all-league teams during the pandemic season, Whatcom Hoops decided to unveil its own all-Whatcom Hoops teams. And because it was so much fun recognizing such great players, we’re going to do it again.

We start today with the all-Whatcom Hoops girls third team and will be releasing one team each day. On Sunday, we’ll wrap up our season with the end-of-the-year awards.

Now remember, these are not your standard all-conference teams. These will be all-WHATCOM COUNTY teams, which means the Lummi Nation players will be included but no Skagit or Snohomish County players will be eligible.

Also, while most basketball all-star squads have five-player teams, we don’t know of any high school that has a team with only five players.

So our all-Whatcom Hoops squads will have 10 players on their first, second and third teams. In fact, we might sneak in a few more players.
