2022 All-Whatcom Hoops: Boys First Team

Last year, because the Northwest Conference did not have all-league teams during the pandemic season, Whatcom Hoops decided to unveil its own all-Whatcom Hoops teams. And because it was so much fun recognizing such great players, we’re going to do it again.

Starting Monday, we began to release one team each day. Today is the all-Whatcom Hoops boys first team. On Sunday, we’ll wrap up our season with the end-of-the-year awards.

Now remember, these are not your standard all-conference teams. These will be all-WHATCOM COUNTY teams, which means the Lummi Nation players will be included but no Skagit or Snohomish County players will be eligible.

Also, while most basketball all-star squads have five-player teams, we don’t know of any high school that has a team with only five players.

So our all-Whatcom Hoops squads will have 10 players on their first, second and third teams. In fact, we might sneak in a few more players.
