1A Bi-District: Nooksack Boys, Meridian Girls Advance

Whatcom County teams continue to dominate the Class 1A Bi-District 1/2 tournaments as the Nooksack Valley boys and the Meridian girls stayed alive with impressive victories Monday night, Feb. 17.

The Pioneers overpowered Overlake, 62-37, in consolation play and now advance to play at Meridian on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Unfortunately, only one Whatcom County team will move on from the loser-out contest.

In the girls tournament, the Trojans taught University Prep a lesson, 57-25, and now advance to play at Bush on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in another loser-out game.

Keep checking for updates from the late games.
