Whatcom Hoops Girls Top 30: #30 Addison Kettman

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 girls. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#30

Addison Kettman, sophomore, Squalicum

WHY SHE’S #30: If there was an all-inspirational team, the 5-foot-10 forward would be first team and probably player of the year. Just playing varsity basketball with her physical handicap was remarkable but to be a starter averaging 6 points and 5 rebounds on a winning team and its toughest inside player says a lot about her work ethic and desire.

COACH JENALYN BROWN: “She was our grit and determination kid — kind, intense, skilled, and steady. She gave our team hope and managed the intangibles that led our team to our third winning season in a row, and although injured for part of the season helped us go further than we have in 14 years.”
