#4 King’s 70, Lynden Christian boys 67

Had they pulled off the upset on the biggest stage, it would have been Whatcom County’s best game in Yakima that week, but the Lyncs fell just short, losing to the heavily favored Knights in overtime in the exciting Class 1A state championship game.

Junior guard Jaden DeBoer had another outstanding game with 28 points and was named to the all-tournament first team. Senior guard Andrew DeBoer, who started for LC’s 2018 state championship squad, was named to the second team.
