Barrett Johnson, senior, Bellingham
WHY HE’S #30: The 6-foot-6 forward went from bench warmer last season to the Bayhawks’ main inside presence, whose persistence in the paint and soft touch made him one of the better post players in the Northwest Conference. He averaged more than 8 points while shooting over 54 percent from the field, and his 7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks a game anchored Bellingham’s interior defense.
COACH BRAD McKAY: “Barrett has improved more than any other kid I have coached. His hard work and attitude allowed him to become a productive player in our league. We will really miss Barrett on and off the floor.”
