#14 Lynden Christian girls 63, Zillah 41
The second-seeded Lyncs enjoyed their first game in the SunDome as they easily defeated the Leopards in Thursday’s quarterfinals of the Class 1A state tournament.
Emily Mellema led LC with 15 points as the Lyncs blew the game open in the second half. With the victory, Lynden Christian advanced to the semifinals for the fourth time in five years.
